Popular Nigerian singer and My Friend crooner, , Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, professionally known as Bella Shmurda in a recent interview revealed why he performed at the Big Brother Naija show in a skirt.
The artiste was part of the guest performance at BBN live eviction show on Sunday evening, July 31st. Bella surprised many and made headlines when he rocked the stage in a skirt.
Meanwhile, Bella Shmurda in a recent interview with media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on the Rubbin’ Minds show has opened up on his reasons for wearing skirts.
Speaking on the aftermath of his appearance at the BBNaija show, Bella Shmurda said he has been wearing skirts unnoticed for two years now.
Bella shmurda said wearing skirt for him, is a form of brand identity and a means of promoting African culture.
In his words; “This is my own way of being unique, every artiste has a way of being identified, this is mine to promote African culture.”
