Tems Refuses To Eat For 34 Hours As She Goes On Hunger Strike After Arrest In Uganda (Video)

Alternative R&B singer Temilade Openiyi has refused to eat following her arrest in Uganda alongside, Omah Lay and their manager.

The duo were arrested after flouting the country’s Covid-19 rule and performing at a sold out show, they have also been charged with “negligently doing acts likely to spread infectious diseases”.

While Tems was taken to the Kigo Medium Security Prison and Omah Lay to the Kitalya Maximum Security Prison, it has slipped out that the ‘Higher’ singer hasn’t eaten anything for the past 34 hours and she’ll continue with the hunger strike.
