Roberto Calenda, agent of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, has declared that his client will remain in the Serie A and there was no deal with Manchester United.
Calenda said this on his Twitter handle on Friday evening amidst speculation that a move to Manchester United this summer was in the offing.
Reports emerged in Italy on Friday that Osimhen is a subject of swap deal with Manchester United involving Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes is reportedly working on a deal that will bring Osimhen to Manchester United and his star client to Napoli on loan.
Napoli, according to the report are also demanding €120million to sell their star striker.
Calenda has however debunked the report circulating around and stated
that there are no ongoing negotiations with Manchester United.
“No ongoing negotiations, no swap deals,” Calenda wrote on Twitter handle.
“Osimhen is a Napoli player and wants to play in the Champions League with his Napoli side after conquering it on the pitch with pride along with his teammates and the coach.”
The 23-year-old has scored 30 goals in 64 appearances for the Partenopei.
