Manchester United are definitely going out to make the coming season worthwhile as they are currently on spending spree to get the best as they have just confirmed their third signing.
United have completed the move to sign to Argentine and Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez from Ajax beating Arsenal who also had interest in the defender.
“Manchester United is delighted to announce the club has reached an agreement with Ajax for the transfer of Argentine international defender Lisandro Martinez, subject to medical, to player terms being finalised, and to UK visa requirements,” United said in a statement.
Martinez is said to be on a five-year contract in Manchester which would last till 2027.
Erick Ten Hag, the newly appointed coach of Manchester United already added midfielder Christian Eriksen and left-back Tyrell Malacia to a squad that finished a disappointing sixth in the Premier League last year.
