Leeds United: Jesse Marsch looking forward to his first full season.

American manager Jesse Marsch took over at Leeds United following the sack of manegrial enigma Marcelo Bielsa. Marsch who has managed at Salzburg and Leipzig took over and saved Leeds from relegation with a final day win over Brentford.

The 21/22 season was beyond disappointing for Leeds United who had to fight for Premier League survival till the very last day. Only Norwich conceeded more goals than Leeds last season and Marsch and his men now have to look forward to working together for a better season ahead.

The departure of key players Raphinha to Barcelona for a fee around €58m minus add-ons and Kalvin Phillips to Manchester City for €48.8m has had Leeds on a spending spree in the transfer market. Leeds have signed six new players this window so far and aren’t done just yet.

Lucas Sinisterra joined from PSV, Tyler Adams joined from Leipzig, Darko Gyabi from Man City, Brendon Aaronson and Rarsmus Kristen from RB Salzburg in a move to reunite with their former boss and finally Marc Rico from Bayern..

For Leeds United, it’s a new manager and new players. Fans are excited for a new season and expect more activity in the transfer market this summer.
