Italian manager Antonio Conte is highly recommended for his wining record in his previous managerial appointments and he is looking to make his term at Spurs no different. For a club that has not won silverware since the Carling Cup in 2008, Conte clearly understands the task that lies ahead for him and his players in North London.

There’s no better way to make a statement of intent than Spurs’ stellar start to the transfer window. The North London side have signed five players this summer and are eyeing more additions before the end of the transfer window.

Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Clement Lenglet and Richarlison have all joined Conte’s side this summer. Nottingham Forest right-back Djed Spence coild be ok the move to North London soon too with transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano confirming that all that remains is an official announcement to complete the deal and make the English man Conte’s sixth addition this summer.

Conte is a serial winner but also a big spender and Daniel Levy has splashed the cash for the Italian this summer with hopes of good returns in the season. Spurs manages to edge North London rivals Arsenal to a Champions League spot last season and will now hope to challenge for major titles this season.

Key-player Heung Min Son signed a new deal at the end of the season and ever reliable captain Harry Kane looks set to remain at the club this season.
