Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the Presidential Candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) has cautioned lawmakers of the National Assembly to be careful and not be in a hurry to impeach President Muhammadu Buhari over the insecurity issues affecting the whole country.
He made this known while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin shortly after paying a courtesy call on Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, telling the senators not to be ‘in a hurry to rock the boat’.
He acknowledged that there are reasons to be worried about the security situation in the country and advised the government to brace up to the challenge.
Kwankwaso, a former minister of defence, however, appealed to the government to reach out to people with genuine concerns, with a view to addressing them.
During the courtesy call, Governor AbdulRazaq asked politicians to play the game without bitterness.
Kwankwaso was in Kwara to open NNPP offices in Ilorin and other parts of the state.
