Popular Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi-Wellington has joined the list of Nigerians to bag a doctorate degree from universities in the United Kingdom.
She was awarded a Doctor of Arts in recognition of her phenomenal contribution to arts and culture on Monday, September 5.
The ceremony was graced by her husband, singer, Banky W and their son, her mother, her best friend and colleague, Jemima Osunde, and others.
Some of the celebrities that have bagged the honourary doctorate degree in the Nigerian entertainment industry include, Alexx Ekubo, IK Ogbonna, Tiwa Savage, Cubana Chiefpriest, Iretiola Doyle, Eucharia Anunobi, Peter Okoye, Mike Ezuruonye, Pretty Mike, Mo Abudu, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde among others.
