American music legend, Madonna has hailed Rema, the Nigerian singer, after his concert in New York.
The ‘Calm Down’ crooner is currently in the United States as part of his ongoing North American tour for ‘Rave & Roses’, his debut album, which was released in March.
In a now-viral video, Rema and Madonna could be seen sharing a warm embrace — shortly after his show.
Madonna told the ‘Dumebi’ singer that she is proud of him while lauding his stage performance.
”I’m so proud of you, you’re a great performer,” she said.
Madonna — fondly referred to as the ‘Queen of Pop’ — is a household name in the global music industry. The songstress has won several awards as well as recognition.
The 64-year-old actress is renowned for her versatility in music production, songwriting, and visual presentation.
He recently featured Selena Gomez, the US songstress, on the remix of ‘Calm Down’, his hit song.
