“I might consider helping your lives” – Wizkid continues to slam Nigerian rappers, names the 3 best rappers in Africa (Photo)

Grammy award-winner and  Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid has taken his beef against Nigerian rappers deeper after  he claimed the rap music genre was dead and boring.

Wizkid during an interview with 10 magazine berated Nigerian rappers that include MI Abaga, Ice Prince, Olamide, Vector, Falz, Reminisce among others.

The “Essence” crooner noted that most of these rappers rap on the same beats, dished out the same style among others as there is no development. He added that Afrobeats is the real thing now.

However, this statement by Wizkid didn’t go down with a lot of rappers in Nigeria as they set out to fireback at him with Oladips dropping a diss track at the Afrobeats singer. 

Responding to the reactions that have started trailing his statement on rap being dead, Wizkid via his official Snapchat account Wizkid once again blasts Nigerian rappers stating that they are not even rappers as far as he is concerned, then further referred to them as broke boys.

Wizkid added that they keep sending him their rap videos and noted that he might consider helping their lives.

He further concluded that they are only three rappers in Africa and it include, Nasty C from South Africa as well as Sarkodie and Black Sherif from Ghana.

He wrote; “Broke boys!

Can’t believe y’all broke boys really thought Big Wiz will talk abt y’all wow!

Y’all not even rappers! nasty C/Sarkodie/ black sherif the only rappers in Africa. Y’all dumb fucks

Y’all keep sending una popsy rap videos! go dey watch maybe fit help una mama life!”
